I honestly can't remember the last time i blogged - EEEP. A lot has happened since you last heard from me so this is going to be a "mini"-update on my life ~
HK 2k9 ~
My holiday to Hong Kong was amazing - the best holiday (this is my fourth holiday) so far although it could've been better. Aside from my dad being nick-picky with food n me being slightly ill i loved hk! Would've been even better if i actually had time to go out with my friends but i can't complain seeing as it was more of a family holiday rather than just me ~ which is why i want to go back to Hong Kong with friends in perhaps...2 years time if i'm allowed? Straight after my A levels during my next extra-long summer! Should be hardcore!
The heat was...rather suffocating (i found it difficult to breathe at times which
was why i carried a fan with me everywhere so i don't die some suffocation!!) but was manageable - my family couldn't really take it 'cause it was so humid but i didn't have a problem with it other than the suffocating feeling.
We went to ma tao to eat dinner - it was...a different experience and the food there wasn't too bad although it got rather scary at the idea of falling off the edge into the water as the path was narrow...we were actually eating on the
dock part that sticks out into the water? If you get me...i'm not making much sense!!
My yee por goes to wak heen everyday so we had fresh heen n lil crabs to eat ~ woaaah i love my seafood ahhhh <3
I went various places ~ Mong Kok, loads of shopping done there, went several times in fact for Lui yun gai, fa yoon gai n miu gai etc ~ love the place!! Disneyland was alright, great
opportunity for photo taking although my camera and phone were running low on battery by the end of it (eeeeks!) - we didn't stay for the fireworks as my little sister had fallen asleep n it was raining on and off the entire day (annoyingly!). What's even more annoying is that i could've gone chern k with my friends that night but i was already booked to go disneyland with the family ~ ahhh - i couldn't back out seeing as we already arranged to go with someone else who was getting us in for free (yes! i know people hehe)
I met a lot of relatives that i never knew existed ~ a bui yee even made us poon choi!! It was delicious yuuuum!!!
We went to the big buddha - my older sister was near fainting half way up the stairs?? perhaps the heat was too much for her ~ i was just wondering around taking pictures non-stop! Although...the best part was probably the crystal cable car (360) - it's not really worth the extra money (WARNING TO YOU
PEOPLE PLANNING TO TAKE IT!!), i found it more fun waving at people in other cable cars and seeing their reactions (ohhh it was so funny hehe!).
IQ bot see in Ching Yi ~
We even went han been yuo sou ~ swimming in the hill stream water thingies?? I went to the highest part so i got the water
before everyone else hehe ~ it was near impossible to walk there unless your use to it though...loose rocks n everything made it really dangerous n the rocks in the stream was slippery - slip n you'll probs crack your head open - AHHH!!
I'm not going to say much more about hk as...well...it's so amazing you have
to visit to see yourself! ~
but i will say that HK people stare even more than Londoners...hahaha just to put that in randomly n their rather rude as well...two girls took a photo of me (with the flash on...) on the train, whom i would've shouted at had the train not been so silent so i settled for glaring instead...which made them run off the train...oops....ummm i got waved at??? ehhh and people in HK don't give their seats up to the people who need it more...they even bash into eachother head on with their trolleys in supermarkets...I JUST DON'T GET IT!!!
~ My monokuro-boo collection ^^ n my plushies!
oh and we got accused of kidnapping my cousin while going through the UK entrance thingy...woop...
Kingston ~
(this guy has been making me sleep late and waking me up at ungodly hours the entire summer...MY EYEBAGS are so cringe...hmph!)
I walked 20 mins to the station...then took a 1hr 30 min train journey that lasted 2 hours due to a train problem...to go see a guy (no one was free to come so don't imply anything here raaaawr!) ~ daaamn >.< it was an overall alright day ~ i'm so not use to going out one on one with a guy...hmm...i got home at 11.30 when i was meant to get home by 11?? but it was alright because i was texting my mum where i was the whole journey home ~
What' even funnier is that after this...he started phoning me loads...he fell for me when he said he wouldn't...but we've settled it between us and he was going to blank me for a year (he said because he couldn't help me "develop" anymore but shhh...he was just making things awkward which was really bad as it made me stress seeing as i had a chern k event that sunday and i only knew him n another person going!) But that got sorted out and we're talking again ~
My second chern k ~
I went chern k again last sunday as well as going to final destination 4 3D!!! WOOOO ~ So it was rather awkward between me and this other guy (it just didn't flow??) ~ wish there was other people there to be honest but then we bumped into other friends and hung around for a bit until the movie (they kept teasing me about him ahhh!!). The movie itself wasn't as good as the original 3, probably because they were beginning to run out of ideas - but the 3D effects made it worth watching ~ i'm rather upset that there are no more sequels but i guess that they can only think up so many ideas and it'll just continue being sequel after sequel which probably isn't a very good idea!
We met up with a load of chinksters....all of which i didn't know...aahahaha...cringe! There was a old man measuring fingers and looking at their palms saing their "hunters" or "gatherers" etc?? It was so weird...if you ask me that man is a bisexual pedophile just wanting to touch youngsters hands haha ~
The actual chern k part was alright, it was awkward at first seeing as i only knew 3 people out of the 25+ but i mingled (i've gotten quite use to just going up to random people in events/situations and trying to make friends over summer - i'm becoming less shy!! woop!!!). It wasn't as fun as last time...but i guess that's because there was more people there and i knew less people...hm....i so want to try hk style chern k!
I was meant to train home with the guy from earlier but he got smashed....his aunt came to pick him up ~ so i was going to train home with another friend but she ditched me for a white guy...why a white guy was at a chinese karaoke event i'll never know...but she ditched me...and then i got told i missed the last train home as trains stop early on sundays (AHHH) so...i basically got pretty scared n was chilly (a guy lent me a jacket...i rejected like 3 jackets ~), in the end my uncle had to pick me up n i slept round my grans...raaaa i made my mum worry so much >.< luckily i didn't get screamed at when i got home the next day...
Results day ~
I wasn't actually nervous for this...until i woke up (only had 4 hours sleep ahhh!) - i got in and most of my friends weren't there??? so i just opened mine by myself...slightly disappointed...i did better in some subjects than i thought i would but i did worse in other subjects that i thought...im especially disappointed about English...gaaaah ~ no one understood how i felt cept my bestfriend but she went home...as did most of my friends after they got their results...hmmm - i went to town with another friend instead and bumped into a few people ~ sharing results is pretty fun haha! Mum took me and sisters out for lunch to celebrate and my phone kept ringing ~ bro hung up on me after i said my results n wouldn't pick up his phone after!! RUUUUUDE!!!! had to phone his friend instead hmph.
I had a bet going with my uncle on my gcse's from last summer...he said A* = £150, A = £100, B = £50, C = pay back £50 etc ~ boooom - he got scared when my mum told him my results haha! (i was on the phone so i couldn't tell him directly)!
I now have a new bet going with him for A level! A = £300, A* = £400 hehe ~
Induction Day ~
Had my induction day for 6th form today!! I feel so much more mature wearing a white bloude instead of the icky yellow...i'm not sure why but the uniform just suddenly looks so much smarter rather than kiddy...perhaps because i'm wearing a form fitting cardigan instead of a baggy school jumper now ~ not sure! (post up a pic soon when i take one ~). None of my friends are in my form...which sucks but i have two people i can talk to in it and i made some friends with new people who came ~ so it's all cool!! My form is probably the coolest one there is - even the teachers and upper sixth said so - i do believe i have an amazin two years ahead of me! hehe ~
enough chats ~ I've rejected two guys...perhaps i shouldn't be so picky with my guys? Maybe because it'll be my first boyfriend i want to be picky...because i'm definitely going to remember him...
